The Terrible Tragedy of Peter Pan

Originally Produced 2002

The Terrible Tragedy of Peter Pan was the second original work produced by The House Theatre of Chicago. IT received hyperbolically positive reviews and managed to run for 5 months at The Viaduct Theatre, near Belmont and Western in Chicago.

This is the classic story of Peter Pan, but we never accept the idea that never growing up is something to envy. What is the cost of never learning from your mistakes and of running away from your inevitable destiny? This adaptation tries to answer that question with lots of sword fights and a very foul mouthed Tinker Bell.

Since 2002, This play has been produced by dozens of times by Theatre Companies and High Schools from California, New York, Arkansas, Michigan, Georgia, Texas, Virginia, Illinois, and more. It's a great choice for high school drama teachers looking for a slightly darker, new take on the classic story of Peter Pan.
